Let me begin my blog by saying…Atlanta is an awesome place!! The people are nice, the city is nice and overall its a great place. So today we woke up at 2:30. It was nice to catch up on some sleep. Adam woke up earlier though and was just hanging out watching some TV for a while.
Main attractions of the day:
- Cici’s Pizza
- Coca Cola World
- Braves Game
So we left Travis’ at around 3 or so and went to Cici’s for lunch. It was so delicious!!! I had some great pizza slices, some chicken noodle soup and some pasta (no cheese) and a slice of bread n stuff. They have this really good louisiana chicken pizza mmmm. I also had a slice of peperoni and jalapeno, a slice of bread n stuff and maybe another but I can’t remember. There were some scary thugs at Cici’s too, one had a knife hanging from his neck.
After Cici’s we filled up at a local shell and went to Coca Cola World of Georgia. At the gas station the lady in front of me in line put down $13 dollars on lottery tickets, she had so many slips though it seemed like way more. Well Coca Cola world was so cool! We started by watching a nice little animation documentary. After the documentary we went to this room that showed the bottling process of coca cola. After that we watched a 4-D show on the secret ingredients of Coca Cola. During this 4-D show there was a part where a bug is flying in your face and then it stings you. To give the viewer a sting effect they have this little thing in the back of your seat poke you. It really hurt! I think it hurts more because it catches you by surprise. When the 4-D show was over it was time for the best part of the World of Coca Cola…the taste-it room!!! In this room there are 60 different types of coca cola products you can try, and you can try as much of it as you want!! Lets just say by the time I was done sampling every flavor I felt like throwing up. There were so many weird flavors and so many delicious flavors. A popular nasty flavor was called Beverly. It sells in Italy, it is very bitter and disgusting. In the photos for this blog I put a picture of all the different sodas that were available. Once we were done drinking all these sodas, Laxy, Jake and I refreshed our palettes with some good ol original coke, and some cherry coke too. While we were in this place Adam was checkin out the city and takin some pics because hes not a big fan of coke and didn’t want to spend the $$ to get in. We also got to take home a fresh glass bottle of coke that was bottled at the World of Coca Cola. It was neat checking this place out and learning a bunch of cool things about coke. It was also nice to learn that coke was invented in Atlanta!
We made our way to the car and headed to the stadium. One thing I noticed about Atlanta is the traffic. Maybe its because they are doing construction all over the city, but they have some heavy traffic at times. Well we got to the stadium and parked across the street in a very nice little local parking spot. This parking spot was awesome! it looked like the owners lived in a house looking building inside the lot. We got two free waters for parking there too which was a nice little gift. We walked into the stadium and saw some interesting bums. One of them was foaming out of the mouth, it looked like he had rabies! It was pretty intense. We got into the stadium and walked around for a little bit. Turner field is a really nice park. Along the terrace level they have these little stands where u can stand and watch the game. So we stood in that area for the whole game, it was so nice. A nice view of the game from behind the plate, you have the freedom of walking around and checking the sites without having to hike down from the top. The game was really good. The braves swept the phillies which was super cool. Adam and Jake were especially excited when their favorite ex-angel garret anderson came in to pinch hit and hit a home run. It was very cool to watch that happen. Another ex-angel casey kotchman also hit a homerun so they were also excited about that, but not as excited as garret anderson. The fans at the game were cool, very into the game. It was also awesome to see everyone do the tomahawk in sync with each other. Overall I would say this ball game is the best one we’ve gone to so far. The people were really nice, the game was great and they also had a firework show after the game. The firework show was solid throughout, the only downside is the finale was not too crazy. We sat right behind the dugout during the firework show, it was a great view. After the game we drove back and now were all just relaxing ready for some sleep. I video chatted with nick woodside, and laxy was video chatting with gloria. Well its time for bed, I’m planning to eat a georgia peach and visit MLK’s grave tomorrow before we move on to the nations capital, Washington D.C.!
Goodnight

I’m jealous, I want to experience a georgia peach. We were all just talking about that, on how good the peaches were. I’d ask you to bring me one home, but I know it would never make it back!! So, enjoy one for me!!
