Day 16.

Hello,
I am here in Boston right now and I am ready to blog about my day. Well today, just like every other day of this trip, has been amazing! So the day began in New York at Laxy’s relatives house. We woke up around 9ish and got ready. I had some coffee, and a bagel. They were delicious. After we cleaned up, we packed the car. We stopped at the post office real quick before we left the wonderful city of New York. There were hornets out by our car too when we were parked in front of the house. Okay, so we avoided toll roads and made our way to Boston. I drove. We had to stop for gas right outside the city. When we got into the city, Franky was giving us a little trouble so it took us a little longer than expected to arrive uncle Mikes. Uncle mike is Amanda’s uncle who we are staying with tonight and tomorrow. So we arrived to uncle mikeys and met his wife. I still haven’t met uncle mike yet but I’m sure I will tomorrow. His wife told us how to get to the park and how to get home after the game and then she dropped us off at the subway station. She also gave us this card that gets us onto the subway for free! We first hopped on the red line which took us to the green line. The subway was moving pretty slow but it did take us outside onto this bridge which was really cool to look at. The green line was packed. Many boston fans making their way to the park. There was this cute little toddler standing right next to me who gave me a high five. It was also funny to hear the Boston natives speak with their accents, same goes for new york. We got off the subway and walked to Fenway park. It was really cool walking with all the people into the park. There were these carts selling hot dogs and sausages outside the park, they smelt delicious and I really wanted to get one but I didn’t. We went into the stadium and walked a little and then went to our seats. We sat in right center. Our section was full of idiots who did not know how to find their seats. Everyone was in the wrong row, but after many innings of confusion they finally fixed themselves. It rained earlier and there was some light drizzle throughout the game, nothing big though. After a few innings Laxy met Jake and I at the snack shack and then came to sit in our section because he had a ticket for another section. Jake and I got dogs and sodas, I left my souvenir cup at the park though such a bum. Big Papi hit a big home run that put the Red Sox in the lead and Nomar came in as a pinch hitter. He got a standing ovation which was real cool. He popped up on the first pitch though. Earlier on the subway some boston fans were talking about nomar pinch hitting last night and how they gave him a standing ovation and how they want to see him turn things around before he retires. So the Red Sox won making our record 6 – 2. Towards the end of the game I walked over behind home plate to take some pictures. I had some random man take a photo of me and he gave me a strange look because I was by myself. I then met up with the rest of the guys after I took some pics. I finally got one of those sausage dogs a stand after the game and it was very delicious. We walked around a little bit and got back on the subway. We took it back and walked from the station to where we are staying now. I had to pee so bad! but all is well now. Now I’m just laying here in this cat infested house trying to stay alive. I am pretty tired so I’m going to call it a night.

Goodnight!
